Starting Replays

This page outlines the process for replaying a captured workload on a target database.

After a workload is captured by MyCRT, users are able to replay that workload on various other servers. Users must provide the capture to replay as well as the target database location. After the replay has completed, users will be able to compare the capture and replay metrics to see how the databases compare.

Steps to Start a Replay

• Click the “+” icon next to “Replays”.

• Walk through the steps to create a Replay.

Specify replay name and the capture to run replay on

Select a target database to run the replay on and provide the password for the selected database

Click “Validate and Start”
